PLC (Practical Law Company) is available on ’My Library’ tab on Elite – and is widely used by inhouse counsel and larger law firms. Their focus is on commercial and private client work and on how the law is practically applied – givng precedent (template) documents and sample letters that can be used in frequently occuring scenarios and practice notes – giving clear and detailed explanations of law and practice, updated to reflect developments as they occur. The areas it focuses on include antitrust, land law, EU, corporate and finance law.

PLC demonstration, Thursday 13th October. Sue Highmore, who practised as a real estate lawyer at a major global law firm, now working for PLC Real Estate, will show GDL students how PLC can help with the practical application of the law. Please go to My Centre, Events and Sign Up, to sign up for a demonstration.
