Just a reminder that during this time printed material such as the Halsburys’ series will be in heavy demand. As a result please would you return volumes to the library trolleys for re-shelving once you have finished rather than letting piles of material accumulate on desks. This way we can ensure all library material is easily accessible to all students.
The journal Justice of the Peace is re-launched this month as Criminal Law & Justice Weekly.
Since first being published in 1837, it has covered the many changes affecting magistrate’s courts and the legal profession in England and Wales.
The re-launched journal will continue to provide a useful resource for criminal law.
New and enhanced sections include:
- Stone’s update: regular updates providing expert analysis and commentary on cases and legislation from Stone’s justices’ manual
- JP Reporter: case digests and judgements provided by leading experts
- Foundations: news and information from criminal justice agencies
- Discussion Point: a mix of views and opinions on contentious issues in criminal law
- Justice Worldwide: the latest news on the global application of the rule of law and key projects and developments in the criminal justice system from around the globe.
